R4i 3DS card work perfectly on Nintendo 3DS

This R4i 3DS gold card is made by r4ids.cn, it is also called R4i Gold 3DS. Since Nintendo 3DS console arrive on Feb 26th, R4i 3DS card firstly break 3DS console in few days. It perfectly run DSi games. The before package is hard paper case. To differ from old R4i Gold card, new R4i 3DS package is released on Aug. It is a hard plastic case. Now, all the R4i 3DS card in the market is the new package.

R4i 3DS Kernel installation

R4i 3DS card use Wood R4 kernel for loading. Before game play, user must install the Wood R4 kernel correctly to the R4i 3DS card. It is easy to do it. Just open the R4i 3DS box, you will get a R4 card and a USB reader. You also need an MicroSD card for installation:

 

1. Download R4i 3DS kernel to computer.
2. Unzip the patch, you can get 3 files: "_rpg", "_DS_MENU" and "WOODR4.NDS".
3. Copy all these files to the root directory of the MicroSD card.
4. Download some games, and copy them to the root directory of MicroSD card.

This R4i 3DS card can run DS games on all Nintendo consoles. (not 3DS game)

    Change log (WOOD R4 V1.59):
    rts still in beta stage.
    improved timers state saving/loading.
    read/write core rewritten - about x10 launch/save/load speedup.
    launching - 1s,
    loading - 4-6s,
    saving - 5-7s.

  4. add Action Replay Codes to R4 on Mac?

    I was wondering if there is a way to add MY OWN MADE Action Replay codes to it on Mac. I see the program for Windows, but Wine keeps crashing when I run it. I know you can add more cheat databases, but I made some new AR codes using Pokégen/Pokésav and I want to get it onto the R4. And, before anyone starts saying "Why didn't you just buy the game and Action Replay from the store; you should buy things because it supports the developer." I DID. I legally bought SoulSilver, Black, Black 2, Platinum, Diamond, and all the like from GameStop. I got the R4 so I could play them all on one cartridge. So, in other words, I have the legally bought games; I just wanted them on one card.

    Change Log (WOOD R4 V1.55)
    RTS:
    -RTS has been added into WOOD R4 V1.55.
    RTS instructions:
    The speed and the sector size of tf card decide the speed of RTS.
    In order to make use of rts,you'd better format your tf card with sector size bigger than 8KB.
    First of all, you need make rts on by clicking start menu and choose setting.
    Just find "rts" and turn it on.
    In the game, you need hot-softreset key and you can get rts menu.
    (Note:Normally It might take a while (5~15 seconds) during the save and load game...)

    latest r4i 3ds kernel updated to wood r4i v1.49b. by loading it, the r4i 3ds card perfectly work on 3ds v4.3.0-E/U/J system. (if your card is old version, you may need to upgrade it in a ds or dsi console)
